Transitions
Transitioning is such a buzz word these days. You will hear this often by people going from straight hair to "natural" (no chemicals used) hair.
Well those who have had their hair go through this will know it's takes getting used to and in the beginning the "transitioning" can be both hard to manage and uncomfortable! Until those beautiful curls just start POPPING and you don't regret it for a second!
Similarly, seasons of transition in our lives are difficult!
Transitions normally come in a season of promotion and growth. You probably prayed that God might prosper you and enlarge your territory. That God might do a "new thing" in your life.
A season of acceleration does not come without TRANSITIONING!
It includes hard work, effort, uncomfortable moments and countless times where you feel like you're starting all over again. You are starting again but this time on a higher level and a deeper dimension.
It includes moments where you feel incompetent and not valuable. Times of frustration and doubt.
These are all part of a season of transition.
A season of transition will disguise itself as the worst season of your life. It's NOT! It's a season of growth, providence and acceleration.
If not for this, we will make all the growth, providence and acceleration ALL ABOUT US.
Transitions prepare our character, heart and spirit for the promises of God ahead.
Don't let the enemy fool you in thinking, this season is not of God. That loser will make you want to give up and turn back!
In our season of transition, the enemy will mobilise people to put you down. But it won't work!
When you become immune to man's criticism, you'll be immune to man's compliments. Transition will remind you that your value, identity and worth is in Him.
Who does man say that I am? Mark 8:27
Count it all joy when you are being persecuted for His name's sake. Let God fight your battles. Don't respond, look straight ahead.
Transition first. Acceleration next.
Run your race with an unstoppable momentum.
Heres to growth, providence and acceleration!
